TRADITIONAL FLEMISH SKEWER

INGREDIENTS

  • Chateaubriand
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • olive oi
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary

TIGER FIRE ACCESSORIES

  • spatula
  • olive oil can

Preparation

Turn the sea salt, paprika powder, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary and olive oil into a marinade.

Cut beautiful blocks from the Chateaubriand. Make sure the pieces of meat you cut are about the same size. Remove the seeds and stems from the peppers and then cut them into square pieces. Peel and halve the onion and take the skirts apart.

Put the pieces of meat and vegetables in the marinade and leave it like this for a few hours. Then put the meat and vegetables alternately on a skewer.

Let’s go outside

Start the TiGER FiRE by making a small fire of oak & beech. Make a pyramid shape. Gradually add larger blocks of wood to the pyramid.

Rub the baking tray with oil. Preferably use peanut oil.

If the fire in the TiGER FiRE burns well it takes about 20 to 30 minutes before the maximum cooking temperature is reached.

Bake the skewers on the plate until done. Or use the TiGER FiRE satay grill to grill all your skewers over the wood fire.
