MOINK BALLS

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams of minced beef
  • 20 slices of bacon
  • 20 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 30 grams breadcrumbs
  • 60 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano 
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • a pinch of pepper
  • a pinch of salt
  • honey
  • barbecue rub of your choice
  • barbecue sauce of your choice

  • spatula
  • olive oil can

Preparation

Mix all the herbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, milk and breadcrumbs in a large mixing bowl. Then add the minced meat to the spice mixture and mix well.

Make meatballs about the size of a golf ball and roll them through the rub. Wrap them with bacon and stick a cocktail stick into them. 

Mix the BBQ sauce with the honey according to the following proportions: 2 parts barbecue sauce, 1 part honey. 

Let’s go outside 

Start the TiGER FiRE by making a small fire of oak & beech. Make a pyramid shape. Gradually add larger blocks of wood to the pyramid.  

Rub the baking tray with oil. Preferably use peanut oil.

If the fire in the TiGER FiRE burns well it takes about 20 to 30 minutes before the maximum cooking temperature is reached.

Bake the meatballs until cooked. Then spread the barbecue sauce with honey over the meatballs and let them simmer for a while on the TiGER FiRE.
