Preparation
Cut the tomato into slices and the red onion into chunks.
Let’s go outside
Start the TiGER FiRE by making a small fire of oak & beech. Make a pyramid shape. Gradually add larger blocks of wood to the pyramid.
Rub the baking tray with oil. Preferably use peanut oil.
If the fire in the TiGER FiRE burns well it takes about 20 to 30 minutes before the maximum cooking temperature is reached.
Bake the burgers and the red onion on the plate. When the burgers are almost ready, put a slice of cheddar on each burger. You can also briefly bake the burger buns on the plate. That way they are deliciously crispy!
Serving suggestion
Put barbecue sauce of your choice on the hamburger bun and then put a burger with melted cheddar on top. Serve with a slice of tomato and the shredded red onion.
