- 1 kg mixed minced meat
- cheddar slices
- 1 to 2 red onions shredded
- 1 red pepper finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- milled black pepper
- spice salt
- sauce of your choice

Season the mixed minced meat with spice salt as desired. Make a mix of all the herbs. Then mix the minced meat with the spice mix and add the finely chopped red onion and paprika. Leave to rest for a while.
Make hamburgers from the prepared minced meat. You do this by rolling nice meatballs, with some cheddar in the core. Then squeeze them flat to make nice and round hamburgers.
Let’s go outside
Start the TiGER FiRE by making a small fire of oak & beech. Make a pyramid shape. Gradually add larger blocks of wood to the pyramid.
Rub the baking tray with oil. Preferably use peanut oil.
If the fire in the TiGER FiRE burns well it takes about 20 to 30 minutes before the maximum cooking temperature is reached.
Bake the burgers on the plate. You can also briefly bake the hamburger buns on the plate. This makes them deliciously crispy
Put a sauce of your choice on the hamburger bun and then put the baked burgers on top. Serve with a slice of tomato and a pickle if desired.
