Preparation
Cut the baguette or ciabatta into small slices. Remove the seeds and stems from the peppers and then cut them into small cubes. Skin the tomatoes, remove the flesh and cut them into small cubes just like the peppers. Shred the shallot.
Let’s go outside
Start the TiGER FiRE by making a small fire of oak & beech. Make a pyramid shape. Gradually add larger blocks of wood to the pyramid. Vergeet de opzet voor de wokpan niet op de TiGER FiRE te plaatsen.
Rub the baking tray as well as the wok pan with oil. Preferably use peanut oil.
If the fire in the TiGER FiRE burns well it takes about 20 to 30 minutes before the maximum cooking temperature is reached.
Place the paprikas together with the shallot in the wok pan. Stir regularly and season with basil, oregano and thyme. Fry the pieces of baguette or ciabatta on the plate. Make sure there is enough oil and season with salt and pepper.
Serving suggestion
Spoon a small portion of the paprika mixture onto a piece of baguette or ciabatta. Finish with a basil leaf to serve.
Enjoy a delicious barbecue all year round, surrounded by the people you love.
