Start the TiGER FiRE by making a small fire of oak & beech. Make a pyramid shape. Gradually add larger blocks of wood to the pyramid.
If the fire in the TiGER FiRE burns well it takes about 20 to 30 minutes before the maximum cooking temperature is reached.
When the flames are muffled, place the pineapple on the glowing charcoal. Turn the pineapple several times so that all sides turn slightly black.
Cut away the top and bottom of the pineapple and remove the peel. Choose to cut the pineapple into slices or pieces. It is important to remove the heart from each piece, because it is bitter and hard.
Serve the pineapple while still warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and finish with a fresh mint leaf.
